June Lake Fishing Information The June Lake loop has four lakes and several other lakes in the nearby canyons. There are also many rivers and streams that boast trophy sized Rainbow, Brook, Cutthroat, and Brown Trout.

Some of the most popular local fishing spots include: June Lake, Gull Lake, Silver Lake, Grant Lake, Walker Lake, Parker Lake, Reverse Creek, and Rush Creek.

Most of the lakes and streams in the area are stocked by the California Department of Fish and Game. The trout season in the eastern High Sierra runs from the last Saturday in April to November 15th.
